Ready to get moving!
Hello Friends! I have a big case of cabin fever and I am REALLY missing that ride to work and school with you. I continue to get a little stronger everyday but still have a few hurdles to clear. The blood clot is getting better but the blood thinners have created other complications. The Dr wants to do a few scans on Friday afternoon to see what’s going on in my abdomen. Brittany goes for her weekly check tomorrow. The baby is due one week from today! I am so thankful that I have had this time to heal and get some strength back before the delivery. When I look at the entire story so far I see God answering every prayer. From the surgery date being moved up to the lymph nodes being clear, God has really had His hand on me through this time. I am so thankful that you have been so involved and concerned for my family. Please pray that I can continue to gain strength and clear these final hurdles that I am facing. Please continue to keep Brittany and Cooper in your prayers. Right now I am still on track to join you Monday morning. It’s going to be a very special morning for me so I hope you can be a part of the show.

You have been in my thoughts and prayers during this time. I have a mother, aunt, father-in-law and grandfather-in-law who are all 5-25 year cancer survivors; God is good. My husband & I have a saying: "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger." I know you will both be stronger, and so will your marriage and your new family, because of this ordeal. (I know that probably doesn't make it any easier to deal with while it's happening, though!)
ReplyDeleteHey, Jason and Brit!
ReplyDeleteI just read the whole surgery update and WOW, isn't God good! I am so glad to hear the report was good and that there is no cancer left. Praise the Lord!!! We have been praying for you here in Gainesville and will continue to lift you both up before the Lord. Your story has been so miraculous so far, I know God will see you safely through the rest. Brit, I know you are so excited about that sweet baby boy who's about to make his debut! We are thrilled for you both and pray for a speedy and smooth delivery. Jason is right; you deserve that much at this point. :) Jason, I miss you, man, and I am thanking God for his goodness over you. Get well, take care of you and Brit and Cooper first, and enjoy that beautiful blessing coming your way. You will never be the same once you see his face and all of this will pale in comparison to the joy of being a father.
Love and blessings to you all,
Dawn
I am still praying... James 5.16, Jeremiah 29.11
ReplyDeleteJason and Brit,
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to make your little Cooper some burp cloths embroidered with his name on them (my girls and I do these)....You guys have been through soooo much. God is so Good! SO wonderful to hear such good news.
If you send me your address to sharnsberger@comcast.net, I could mail them to you... or if you shoot me an email while Brit and Cooper are still in the hospital, my husband could drop them by on his rounds ... (he's an OB...) If i don't hear from you, maybe i will just mail them to the radio station.
God bless your family!!!
