Thank you!

Thank you all so much for the comment, emails, phone calls and cards. Brittany I have read everything that has been sent. It means more than words could express knowing that this many people are praying for and thinking about us. We are scheduled to go to Vanderbilt one week from tomorrow. Please continue to pray that something will open up before then. We talked to our nurse assigned to us through our insurance company last night. She is GREAT! She seems to really care about what’s going on and it looks like we are going to get a few benefits to help with the stay in Nashville. That is going to be an expensive couple of weeks so it would be really good if insurance does help with that bill. Please continue to pray for Brit and Cooper. She is 6 weeks away on Thursday! I wish I could put into words how encouraged I have been by you. Please know that I thank God every day for your support and pray that He continues to bless you!

  2. I think about you and Brittany often. I don't know you but my heart goes out to you both so much. Please know what a blessing you are on my drive to work each morning. In this time of your life with so many blessings, for you to have to go through this, God must really have big plans for you.I will keep you in my prayers.

  3. Jason,
My family and I are praying for you and your family through this trying time in your life. It seems so much more of us our touched by cancer. My best friend is 36 and is staying tough through a non-curable form of cancer and my mother is a cancer survivor from renal cell carcinoma going on 15 years. Stay strong and keep the faith.

  5. Dear Jason,
You are my favorite DJ (don't tell Ted). I'm the one who always hollers at you at the concerts!"WE LOVE YOU JASON!" You already know that God is going to do something really big with your situation. All eyes are on you and YOUR GOD! HE's big enough man, and you know He's going to take care of you, your wife and your son! HE's the most awesome God ever and He's wanting to prove it again with your situation right now. Just let Him shine!
    WE LOVE YOU JASON!
    Love,
Bonnie Ley, a very devoted van of yours..

  6. This is Paige. I couldn't figure out that whole adding my name thing.
Jason, Keep putting all that passion for life, family, God and football :) into your recovery. You and Brittney and Cooper mean the world to us. Keep laughing and finding joy in this trial. A joyful heart is good medicine but a broken spirit dries up the bones. (Prov 17:22)

  7. Hello Jason: I want you to know that you and your family will be in my prayers. My youngest daughter has gone through nine years of various illness, the last being an autoimmune, neuromuscular disease. As challenging as the journey has been, I see God at work in a mighty way, so we simply ask God to guide our next steps as we step out in faith. Someone shared something that has been so meaningful to us, and I hope it is for you as well . . . "Sometimes God calms the storm, and sometimes God lets the storm rage and calms His child." May you feel His love, protection and healing as you weather the storm, and trust in Him that He is in complete control.
    Blessings!

  8. You, Brittney and Cooper are in my prayers daily. At times when I want to give up, God shows me new ways to pray for his children. He has proven to me over and over that he is in control. I pray for healing in your physical life, and a closeness to God in your spiritual life that can only come from the Holy Spirit. My God Bless YOU and your family in this journey.

  9. I will be praying for you. I know this is such an exciting time with little Cooper on the way, as I just had a baby myself. And I hate that you have to go through this other journey, but I know God will bless each of you. Take care and stay strong.

  10. You are such a blessing to be able to hear you on the radio each morning. The morning devotions motivate and encourage me daily. You and your family will be in my prayers as you endure these trying times. God will never put more on us than we can handle. Sometimes that makes you stop and ask "God, how much can I handle?" You just need to remember what Twila Paris sings..."God is in Control."

  11. Jason and Brittany,
Thank you so much for sharing this journey with us! What a testimony of faith to hear you glorify God through this season in your life.
I have a 12 year old son who had hepatoblastoma when he was 6 months old. God's hand worked in a mighty way and he is completely cancer free. I can honestly say that initially, I was so angry that I did not bring God Glory. I pray that you and your family know that you have "sheltering tree" of God's family covering you in prayer!
I wanted to share a couple of my favorite verses that friends shared with us on our journey.
"For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." Isaish 41:13
"..But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 40:31

  12. Jason,
I have listened to J103 since its inception and the songs have ministered to me so many times through so many difficult situations in my life. I want to remind you that we serve a BIG God and nothing is impossible for him and just when we think we can't go on that's where he steps in carries us. His word never lies and it it won't now so just continue to lean on him and you and your family will come through this ordeal and you will be able to testify to others about what God has done in your life. I don't know you personally but we are a family and you are my brother and I love you my christian brother.

    In His Name,

    Bill Gibson

  13. Dear Jason,

Five days a week you minister to me as I listen to your morning grace for the day on my way in to work. Most days I arrive in tears either moved to conviction or rejoicing over something you've said that day. Like Paul, I thank my God on every remembrance of you. I try to make it a point to call your name in prayer every time you cross my mind. I feel in my spirit that there are many years of ministry ahead for you and I'm praying for God's will in your life. The Great Physician will be in consult with your doctors tomorrow and through the treatment of your cancer. God bless you and your family.

    With love in Christ,

  15. Jason, Brittney & Cooper,

I'm praying for each of you. I start each weekday morning with Jason, and God has always used him to bless me! The songs you've played over the years have ministered to me, and when our beloved cat passed away, I enjoyed hearing about Kitty McKay! Our God is mighty to save, and I am praying that you each feel His hand on you!

    God Bless!
