Baby Showers

Just like the weather we have had lots of showers lately. It has been a huge blessing to receive so many great things for Cooper. We went to Knoxville on Saturday for a shower with Brittany’s family and friends. On Sunday our small group at church had a shower and a special time of prayer for all 3 of us. Today at work everyone here a shower for the baby. I have really enjoyed getting to celebrate this exciting time with family and friends, plus it’s been nice to get my mind off health related issues for a little bit. Our two week wait is almost over. The appointment with the doctor in Nashville is tomorrow morning. We will be able to schedule the surgery date and get a lot more info about what’s ahead. Please pray that the surgery will scheduled soon. My prayer is that this time next week I will be recovering from surgery. Brit is 5 weeks away from the due date on Thursday. Thanks again for all the prayers and support. It’s overwhelming to know how much love and support we have. I continue to recieve calls, emails, and cards every day. We will update the blog tomorrow afternoon when we know more.

  3. Jason, our family is praying daily for you, Brittney and baby Connor. This did not take our God by surprise and He is will be your comforter, healer, supplier, and strength in the days and weeks to come. I claim the promise of Jeremiah 29:11 for you and your family.

  5. Jason,
I know the fear that has entered your mind during this time. You see, I too, was diagnosed with breast cancer last November at the age of 33. I know the thoughts that Satan places in your head to make you worry and turn your focus away from God. One thing is definite, God is sovereign and he knew about your situation before the doctors made the diagnosis. Keep looking up and focus on the one that can heal you. My family will definitely keep you, Brittany, and baby Cooper in our prayers.
